We hosted our very first fitness retreat in 2018, and since then, our trips have only grown — both in number and in the amazing community we’ve built. We take pride in creating unforgettable experiences, and one of the biggest compliments we receive is seeing participants return year after year for another adventure.
Every retreat has one thing in common: fitness is part of the journey! While our sessions are never long or complicated, moving together each day adds a burst of energy, sets the tone for the adventures ahead, and brings like-minded people together.
Beyond the workouts, each location offers a unique experience. From exploring local culture to enjoying incredible food and packed days of fun activities, every retreat is designed to create memories that last a lifetime.

Denmark
We’ve hosted two incredible retreats in Denmark, with our most recent adventure taking place in July 2025. This trip holds a special place in our hearts because Ras, one of our owners, grew up in Denmark and loves sharing the country’s hidden gems with our guests.
The retreat blends the best of both worlds. The vibrant city of Copenhagen and the cozy charm of Odense, Ras’s hometown. From exploring local culture to embracing the Danish concept of "hygge", each day offered a new experience.

Algarve, Portugal
In 2021, we hosted not just one, but two back-to-back retreats in the breathtaking Algarve region of Portugal. Known for its coastline, golden beaches, and charming towns, this location gave us the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and certainly did not disappoint.
Our days were filled with unforgettable moments, indulging in incredible local food, enjoying a private tour and tasting at an extraordinary winery, and kayaking through the famous sea caves that make the Algarve so iconic. And as with all our retreats, the real magic came from the laughter, connection, and memories we created together.

Playa del Carmen, Mexico
In 2019, we escaped to sun-soaked Playa del Carmen on Mexico’s stunning Caribbean coast for a retreat filled with adventure, relaxation, and community. Our group enjoyed a private chef who prepared authentic Mexican meals, making every breakfast and dinner a highlight of the day.
Mornings began with workouts, either in the gym or right in the sand, before heading out to explore. From swimming in crystal-clear cenotes to setting sail on a private catamaran across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, this retreat perfectly captured the spirit of our trips: movement, unforgettable adventures, and memories that last long after the plane ride home.

Bali, Indonesia
Bali holds a special place in our hearts, it’s where we hosted our very first fitness retreat, and there’s a reason we’ve returned more than any other destination.
Our Bali retreats capture everything we love about these trips: delicious food, a health-conscious and vibrant atmosphere, and breathtaking scenery in every direction. Each day is filled with adventure, from wandering through green rice terraces and chasing waterfalls to adventure on stunning beaches and soaking in the island’s rich culture.
Our Bali Retreat is the perfect balance of fitness, exploration, and connection. It has never once disappointed!

Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona was a retreat full of vibrant city life. We trained together each morning and spent our days exploring the city to its fullest. Wandering the Gothic Quarter, cycling along the waterfront, taking part in a private paella cooking class, and tasting cava were just a few of the many highlights.
With its rich history and iconic architecture at every turn, this retreat offered a refreshing change of pace from our usual beachside escapes. Blending culture, fitness, and unforgettable experiences in a fantastic trip.

Phuket, Thailand
Phuket was the ultimate exotic island experience. Mornings began with coffee and breakfast at our luxury hotel, overlooking views so stunning you’d never want to leave. Each day blended fitness, tropical beauty, and cultural discovery.
Workouts took place in a mix of scenic outdoor spots and local gyms, while our adventures included a private cruise to the famous James Bond Island, a Thai cooking class, an elephant sanctuary, Muay Thai training, visits to local markets, spa sessions, and so much more.
With its mix of movement, culture, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, it’s no surprise this retreat quickly became a fan favorite.

Nicaragua
We’ve hosted two unforgettable retreats in Nicaragua, and each one has been nothing short of magical. Set within one of the most luxurious resorts in all of Central America, this retreat offered a slightly different experience from many of our other locations
With gym access a bit more limited, we got creative with our workouts, proving that fitness is never about the equipment but the energy and community you bring. From sandy beach sessions to outdoor training with stunning views, every workout was a reminder that you can train anywhere.
Outside the resort, the adventure continued: volcano hikes, private guided tours, scenic boat island rides, zip-lining through the jungle, and authentic local dining made this retreat an absolute experience.

Cape Town, South Africa
Cape Town is where adventure meets breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife. This destination has so much to offer that every day felt like a new bucket-list experience.
Our retreat was packed with highlights, such as hiking to the top of Table Mountain, visiting the iconic Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, exploring local markets, and indulging in South Africa’s renowned food and wine scene. Fitness sessions were paired with adventures, from coastal drives to spotting wildlife.
This trip perfectly showcased the unmatched beauty of South Africa and leaving our participants with memories to last a lifetime.

Texas Reunion (Invite-Only)
Our Texas Reunion was a special weekend created exclusively for past retreat attendees. With a chance to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate the friendships that began on our trips around the world, this weekend was amazing.
This time, we slowed down on the explorations and turned up the community. Between fun workouts and long catch-ups, the weekend captured everything we love about Grown Strong: fitness, laughter, and lasting memories with like‑minded people.
We chose to be fully present and didn’t film any vlogs, but join one of our fitness retreats, and get an invite to the next reunion weekend to see for yourself.
